Designer
Alessandro Elli was born in Brianza, Italy in 1968. After graduating from the F.Melotti
Art Institute, he attended Milan’s Polytechnic School of Design and obtained his master’s degree in Industrial Design.
A long-term collaboration with Paola Navone allowed Elli to gain his first experiences in the design industry. In 1999, he designed his first projects at Carlo Ballabio and shortly afterwards, began his primarily industrial product-focused professional career, whilst also taking on interior design projects for residential homes and small public spaces. Elli has collaborated with or is currently collaborating with the following companies: Axil, Bross, Di Liddo&Perego, Emmemobili, Giesse-tech, I Carraro, Linfa design, Marella design, Milanobedding, Nespoli-Consonni, Salcon imbottiti, Servetto, Pacini&Cappellini, Pamar, Ydf and Thrre.
In 2004, Emmemobili’s Escher product was exhibited at the Milan Triennial international exhibition and in 2005, the same product was showcased during the Città Infinita (City of Infinity) event at the CLAC (The Wood Furnishing Centre of Cantù).
The Cubik collection that he designed for Di Liddo&Perego, won MisuraEmme’s “Special Tiziana Mascheroni Award,” as part of the Young & Design 2005 competition.
